Dad's Parsnips

Dad always grew enough vegetables for him and my mum all year and he enjoyed bringing me the first bucket of new potatoes or a few early peas.

I would often return home to find an assortment of vegetables on the doorstep.

These parsnips looked too good to eat - so I etched them onto a steel plate for this image!
